Race: Norian : Norians are a humanoid race, with slender pointed ears typical of elven-like species. They stand taller than most elven-type races ranging in size from 5.2 to 6.1 feet. Males and females are sexually dimorphic; males tend to be larger in stature than females. Form follows function. Women are more agile than their male counterparts. Their figures tend to be leaner, with hips fit for childbearing. Females have breasts, but though far from large curvy figures. As in most humanoid species, the reproduction is nearly the same. Male and female mate. The female becomes pregnant, carries the child for 18 months, and bears the child. A Norian can live between 1500 and 1600 years as an average life span.
Mind : Norians have highly developed brains. They are highly intelligent and are very creative. They have natural telepathic and empathetic abilities within their own race, which is highly important to their language.
Blood Type: Norian blood is not hemoglobin based, but chloro-carbonyl-bis (tri phenylphosphine)-iridium (vanadium chromagen) based. When oxygenated the blood turns a bright green-orange, and it over a few days becomes a darker green as it loses oxygenated. Vanadium chromagen however is light sensitive, and when exposed to extreme light can break down over a few days. Norians have complex chemical barriers (non-pigmented) in their skin to prevent light from doing damage to their blood. However eyes, and thinly covered body regions require shielding by sunglasses, clothing, etc. This blood chemistry has caused Norians to prefer more shaded, densely forested areas. Norian lungs are more twisted or spiral shaped organs, because the chemical process for oxygenating the vanadium chromagen takes slightly longer than hemoglobin or cobalt based blood forms. Norians also require a high level of atmospheric nitrogen to be present in their environment; their body utilizes the nitrogen to make nitrogenous bases for use in biochemical functions.
Reproduction: Reproduction is achieved through the sexual intercourse between male and female. Norians are very selective in their mates, and reproduction is a lengthy ritualistic act. Unlike most humanoid species the meeting of sperm and egg is not the only requirement for fertilization. During mating a release of enzymes, energy and gas is excreted from the Pagh’ta gland at the back of the throat. This green cloudy mist is shared between the mates in a kiss, the two energies and the other materials mix and react in the female’s mouth and are reabsorbed into the Pagh’ta gland and delivered to the site of fertilization. Without the Pagh’ta exchange, no fertilization can occur. The egg will reject the sperm. This gives the female ultimate control during mating, as that if no fertilization is desired, she can swallow the Pagh’ta before the male’s can interact with it.
Once fertilization occurs, the female will carry the child for 18 months before giving birth. Norian babies are fragile and require a lot of nurturing.Nervous system: Norians have nearly four times as many nerve endings in their bodies than the typical human. They are extremely sensitive to any kind of disturbance, and can register even the slightest vibration. This evolved over time when primitive Norians lived in vast forested areas and hunted for their food. It has remained, and has further been perfected even as Norians advanced, increasing the enjoyment of contact. Along with this increased sensitivity also came an ability to receptions of some negative sensations, giving the Norian a higher pain thresholds similar but stronger than a human in an aroused state.
Build: Athletic : Norians have two types of musculature, the familiar red tissue found in most humanoid life forms and then a white muscular tissue that allows for the concentration and build-up of carbon dioxide. These white muscles allow for extremely quick movements such as sprinting, and manoeuvring. However white muscles lack the ability to be used for extremely long lengths of time, so red musculature is required for the other movements. In combat this gives a Norian the ability to have bursts of extremely fast movement. Norian physiology grants them however slightly less than average strength, which is easily made up for in agility.
Skin: Dark tanned. The largest organ of the integumentary system made up of multiple layers of epithelial tissues that guard underlying muscles and organs. As the interface with the surroundings, it plays the most important role in protecting (the body) against pathogens and light. Its other main functions are insulation and temperature regulation and sensation. Skin cells have developed complex chemical barriers to prevent light from damaging their blood; however do not offer total protection from the harmful rays. Further protection is given by clothing and other coverings.

The top of it was comprised of a massive inset red gem which internally blazed with the flames or Morsoram itself. It would give its new bearer the ability to access the secured quintessent nodes around the island for utilization in weaving no matter how far away they travelled.
Bone reading : In bone reading, bones of various sorts are ritually tossed onto a mat, an animal hide, or into a circle drawn in the dirt, and the resulting patterns interpreted. Throwing the bones is an ancient practice traditional to many regions of the world. The number and type of bones employed, as well as the inclusion of other small objects, such as pebbles, shells, and hard nuts, varies quite a bit from culture to culture. Marked bones are often used in groups of two or four to obtain yes or no answers, as well as more detailed information. n addition to being used in rites of throwing, bones are also ritually manipulated in other ways for the purpose of telling the futureVoodoo: People use Voodoo for daily life experiences. To evoke Voodoo it is most likely to be done through a ceremony. During the ceremonies, the spirits come out and listen to the needs of the people. It is thought that the spirits arrive through Voodoo dances, chants, singing and secret languages. Also at the ceremonies, people sacrifice people, live animals, dead animals, and dead animal parts to fulfil their needs. In Voodoo ceremonies there is an alter that has items representing the spell or ritual at one particular ceremony. These items on the alter represent the rituals being practiced. The items can be food, money, candles, jewellery, rum, bells, amulets, pictures, drums, stones and many others.
Voodoo ceremonies are organized and lead by the priests. The priest could be a man or woman and is usually not chosen by the people. Priests are hereditary which means if your father or mother was a priest or priestess then you would become the same. Although woman hve the option to be a priest, most of the Voodoo priests in the past were male. Every priest or priestess goes through practice and training of the Voodoo religion before officially becoming the priest. Being a priest or priestess requires a lot of patience and knowledge about the Voodoo religion. They have several duties such as performing healing rituals, holding religious ceremonies to call the spirits, holding ceremonies for the new priests or priestesses, telling voodoo fortunes, reading people’s dreams, casting spells, invoking protections, creating potions, and many other duties.
Potions are commonly used for Voodoo rituals. The most popular potions are used for love spells, death spells and money spells. There are other unique potions made by the priest used for a more specific problem. These include spells for special sicknesses and spells for personal needs. Not everyone has access to the potions as they very expensive. The priests make them out of rare, expensive materials and they are difficult to create and evoke. Voodoo is often associated with witchcraft because of these spells and potions. It is also a very misunderstood religion because of their beliefs and practices.

A fully fledged priestess and bone reader, she was to reach maturity and the ceremony of marking at the age of sixteen, where she was devout to her beliefs, and would remain a virgin, untouched by the hand of a man, so her loyalty and devout following of the Son would be seen to fruition. On the reaching of age, her body was tattooed by the village elders, marking her skin with tribal swirls and patterns representing her kin, and the future that she was aspired to have. Daily pilgrimages to the volcano were part of her routine, where she offered a small animal sacrifice to appease Amajana, knowing that one day, she would have to lead the innocent to be killed upon the alter should Amajana wake from her long slumber. Always dressed in tribal jewellery consisting of shells and precious stones, she wears no shoes, and has done fire walking to show her faith, cleansing her, as the smoke rises around her from the fire pit. Many people bring out food and trinkets to Teki to be blessed and she is always invited into homes, to teach the children of the spiritual history of the Island. A wonderful story teller, she is a favorite amongst the young and old alike.
