The Cafe’ Louvre.

-On the second floor of the Cafe Lourve’, in Prague, Dixie was sitting by herself, at one of the window tables. The normally cheeky Australian was dressed simply, in a crisp white T, with black jeans, and matching boots. Her black hair swept up into a neat pony tail, that was actually combed up tight, no whisps or stray locks hanging down, she was just so incredibly neat. Save for the fact she had her feathered ink, on display on her arms, Dixie was not dressed as she normally would. Waiters came by her, checking on her and every so often, Dixie asked for her cup to be filled again. A tall fellow, dressed in striped vest, white long shirt, and black dress slacks, brought her a fresh espresso, which she accepted with thanks. The air of the Cafe, was rich with the scent of freshly roasted coffee beans. A delight to the senses. The Cafe Lourve’ was a historical landmark in Prague, famous for so many patrons over the last century.
This Café, bearing the name of the world’s famous gallery, has been standing in the capital for over a century, since 1902. Among its guests were Karel Capek, Franz Kafka as well as Albert Einstein during his professorship in Prague. Seemed like an odd place to find Dixie, but our Dixie was actually a fan for architecture, for she found that a lot could be learnt about art, from the very simplest of things around you. The Café was living history. Dixie glanced up at some of the images captured by both artists and photographers over the years, and marvelled at the changes in fashion, technology, interior design, and what had been kept intact, since it was first opened. One couple, seated not far from Dixie, were sharing a slice of Black Forest cake. The gentleman dug the spork into the cake, whilst his girl sat with arms folded on the table, watching her love dig out a large piece. The young man reached across and fed his date the sumptuous piece, which the woman ate, making mmm sounds and closing her eyes. Dixie toyed with her spoon, swirling it around in her coffee, as she could see this couple virtually making love over a piece of Black Forest cake. Dixie leant back in her chair, and she could see beneath the couple’s table, that the woman had skipped off a shoe, and was rubbing her stocking covered foot between the man’s legs. And by the look on the man’s face, he was enjoying that just as much as the cake

The mysterious woman glanced over at the couple “enjoying” the Black Forest cake, the same as Dixie had been, and after folding her paper and placing it on the table, she chuckled loud enough for Dixie to hear.”I heard the cake here…is very good, but I had no idea it was THAT good.”- The woman had a very broad Israeli accent, and she smirked at Dixie, whose attention she had gained. Ayalah took up her spoon, and lifting the lid to the sugar bowl, took two teaspoons full and tipped it into her cappuccino  Mixing the sugar through, she bit her bottom lip, looking under her eyelashes at Dixie, her sunglasses sliding down the bridge of her nose. “Forgive me for saying, but er…you do not look local to Prague.” Dixie was a bit taken aback that this stranger had taken an interest in her, and stopped stirring her own coffee. Dixie wasn’t exactly overly friendly to strangers, and retorted quickly. “Niether do you.”- Well she was right, and Ayalah laughed, rising from her seat, and picking up her coffee, bringing it over to Dixie’s table. “May I?”- Ayalah asked, gesturing to the empty seat that was opposite Dixie. Dixie wasn’t too fussed, but then again, she wasn’t going to deny the woman. “Sure.”- she said simply, picking up her own cup and taking a sip, her eyes going from the cake loving couple and this new woman, seated opposite her. Placing down her purse, and coffee, she drew out the wooden chair and then sat herself down, snapping her fingers for their waiter, to bring her the menu. Looking quite pleased with herself and a touch smug, she leaned forward, and whispered. “I had a man, who took me here…ock, be err…few years ago. Gabriel, I think his name was. Well….he fitted me with this internal…err..”-she pointed down below the table as if to suggest that it was inserted inside her, and Dixie’s jaw fell open. “Yeah…that..any ways, he ordered for me, the Classic Sacher with cream.’- Ayalah paused, as if she was going over the moment in her mind, and Dixie, was a little impatient. “And….?” Ayalah snapped back to reality and laughed, then grinned mischievously  “He had this remote control…SO..everytime he fed me a piece of cake…he…*she wound her finger round and Dixie’s eyes went rolling back. “I can’t tell you how much that cake had me cum.” Ayalah burst out laughing, though Dixie almost spat out her coffee in suprise. Coughing, Dixie reached for her serviette, as Ayalah went back to watching the cake lovers. “Ah…young love. Can’t beat it. Me? I am happy enough with a random fuck…no ties, no lies.” -The last phrase had Dixie slow the patting of the serviette on her mouth, and she set it down on the table. Ayalah turned her attention back to Dixie, and smiled softly.

“Forgive me, did I say something to upset you?”- the Israeli asked, as the waiter in the striped vest handed her a menu. Dixie coughed and took up the coffee cup with both hands and shook her head, before taking another sip of her coffee. Ayalah’s face was one of “genuine” concern, and held the menu a moment, watching to see if Dixe would say something. Dixie felt insecure about this woman boldly asking her personal questions out of the blue. Back at the Death Club, Dixie was in her element, for she managed the bar, and was confident about her way around the club and handling the patrons. This was very different. This was her time…and she rarely let anyone in, aside from Dem of course. But since Demetrios had finally bared his soul to her, she had felt a change in him, one that she didn’t think she could fix with words of comfort. Dixie was simply ill equipped to know how to counsel Demetrios on her own. Ayalah flipped open the cake menu, and started to wiggle in her seat. Dixie thought she was truly bizarre, and picked up her cup of coffee, to drink the last of it, and make a quick get away. Ayalah let out a “Aha…the Tiramisu, I think I will have that. Then later….Balls of Steel gym to work off the fat…Aha.”- She snapped her fingers again for the attentive waiter, and handed him the menu back with her order, and came out with it. “Man troubles, Dear?”Dixie set down the cup with a clink and stared hard at Ayalah. Her lips thinned and there was a pained expression on her face. Ayalah read it immediately, and bit her bottom lip, curling it under her teeth. “So it is…”- Dixie went to staring out the window, her hands going below the table, and Ayalah, she didn’t let go once she seized on the chance she was right. Edging forward in her seat, she said softly, like she was trying to be discreet. “You know, it helps to talk about it….whatever it is. Look, you do not know me, and we may never meet again. I am non judging….just here on business.” Dixie looked away a moment, but Ayalah could see the tears building in Dixie’s eyes. Tears that were set to overflow. “I can’t help him…I can’t, I don’t even know where to start.” – Under the table, Ayalah did a small fist pump, which would be unseen, and another waiter started to refill Dixie’s cup, as the other waiter brought over Ayalah’s Tiramisu slice, setting it down. Dixie brought up her closed fist to her mouth, like she was trying to stop herself from crying in public, stifle the sounds she may make.Ayalah, was good at interrogation, and knew all the tricks in getting information out of people, willingly, or not. With Dixie, she went for the softly softly approach. One step at a time….and it would pay heavy dividends. Over the course of the next hour, Dixie spoke of her love…Demetrios, who she was madly in love with. How she had fought her own demons, and bared her soul to him. She spoke of the wild nights in his garage, the days where they did nothing but love each other, and Ayalah would make “Ahhs” and “Mhm” at the right intervals, but at the same time gathering a lot of intel. But it was the moment Dixie spoke of the death of Marianna, that Ayalah stopped speaking. Her eyes narrowed, brows knitting, and she even sat down her spoon, and pushed the plate away. Dixie…it was a flood, words spilling out, overflowing. She felt physically sick having to let this out, but she didn’t know how else to express the pain, of having all this fall on her young shoulders. Ayalah reached for Dixie’s hand, and squeezed it tightly. “You..poor thing. Dear, you were not to have known. That is a terrible tragedy. He must carry that with him, all the time. And you…you his sweet Angel.”- Dixie allowed Ayalah to hold her hand, maybe cause she felt she just had no one else. “What do I do?” -Dixie pleaded. Clearly out of her depth with it all.”Do you love him? I mean…truly, with all your heart?” – Ayalah asked, stroking the top of Dixie’s hand with her thumb, caressing her skin. Dixie sniffed and took up a napkin, bringing it to her nose and sniffing. “Of course, I would die for him.”- Ayalah then smiled….and it was eerie. “Then you have nothing to fear. He will come to you, in time. That is all this is really. He held all that in for so long, and he finally let it out. The wound is raw, like the bleeding of a heart. It needs time to be sealed closed. You…you need to be there, when it does. Don’t give up.”- Dixie quickly withdrew her hand and got to her feet, taking out her wallet and digging around for enough to pay for her coffees. She placed it down and then licked her lips, wiping away a stray tear. “Thank you…sorry to have dumped all that.” – Dixie went to turn on her heel, when Ayalah coughed, and Dixie looked back. Ayalah handed Dixie a card. “If you ever need to talk to someone, just call me…okay?” Dixie held the card between her fingers and seemed to hesitate, before saying. “i don’t even know your name.” Ayalah smiled brightly and said. “Call me, Mrs Flintstone.”- Dixie thought this was weird, and then bobbed her head, before walking down the cafe and to the stairs, as Ayalah sat back in her seat, and folded her arms smirking.”My my Dixie…so you would be willing to die for him.” <3>
