VenorCarrendar: -Venor didn’t realize when his mother put him back into the hidden space atop the bookshelf. He was exhausted. The last hour had been very taxing on the hatchling… plus, as baby bebilith grew very quickly… reaching about half their adult size within the first year… his body needed him to rest so it could focus it’s energy on processing the food he had eaten into the necessary components to help the infant grow. He stirred just enough to scrunch into the hole leading into the wall… just far enough back that he wouldn’t be visible to anyone peering in from the opening he had leapt out of earlier. Ven lay there curled up, his young mind reliving hunts… but whose?… that would be the question… as the racial memory played out in his head… Venor Carrendar..l less than two hours out of the egg… was already learning to hunt. In the dream, it was as if Venor was larger… much larger, and stalking his prey… the large wolf-looking creature slipping unnoticed through the treeline as it hunted the party of humans traveling along the road… unaware that it was no longer really the predator… it had become the prey… for the greater Barghest , a demon… had drawn the notice of a greater bebilith. The bebilith was thrilled by the challenge of this hunt… Greater Barghest’s were infamous for their ability to remain hidden and unseen as they hunted… but to the one who now hunted the hunter… the trail was there. The bebilith did not follow visible clues as much as it did it’s nose. In the dream, the adult bebilith sniffed at the air, then close against a tree… in the cubbyhole, the tiny infant sniffed deeply in his sleep… back in the dream, the bebilith smiled, detecting the scent of his prey, fresh on the tree’s bark. Looking closely, the bebilth made out something wavering in the breeze, it was a deep brown, almost black hair… the Barghest had brushed against this trunk as it stalked the unaware humans… all the while, unaware itself that it was being stalked as well.-
LoreleiRoseCarrendar:- Yes, the day had been taxing, Lorelei’s new boys were more than just a handful, they were the terrors of the Abyss, most certain to have Mazmezz beside herself with glee. Venor the hunter and Heksen the Carnvior, both had different personalities and they both shared a common trait, that of the fact, that they were face huggers. Lorelei was sitting in a large fur skinned chair as Baldrick painstakingly applied a foul smelling ointment to her scratches as her hair was had been washed and was tied up in a towel. (Baldrick)”These two will be the death of me, M’lady. Hold still….oh this stuff is disgusting. *He gently dabs the ointment into the deep scratches, wincing as Lorelei drives her claws into the arms of the chair* Where on earth did you get this stuff from, and it reeks more than your hair did a short time ago.”- Lorelei closed her eyes, gritting her teeth as the booger coloured paste was applied. (Lorelei)”Some old hag from Boxster’s hill. Honestly, I swear she got some troll to shit in a jar, cause that is what it smells like, but its said to be good for this sort of injury. Suppost to heal up faster, or some such claim. All I know is I paid a good few gold coins for this crud. It had better work.”- Baldrick nearly wanted to toss the jar when he heard her mention the troll, but she needed a bit more applied and Baldrick decided to try and change the mood a bit. (Baldrick)”Your going to have to work out what to do with the boys…you know how fast they grow, and that Ven…I swear if he is eating his own siblings right from the sac, what chance have the locals got. *he then looked as though he had an idea, and he held up a finger covered in the stinky ointment- “M’lady…I have a subtle plan.” Lorelei released her claws from the armchair as the goo was starting to do its job, healing up her face, as she said- (Lorelei)”Baldrick, you wouldn’t know a subtle plan even if it painted itself purple and jumped up on a harpsicord and danced, singing, “Subtle plans are here again.”
VenorCarrendar: -Ven shifted slightly, his hand reaching out to rest lightly against the wooden beam beside him… the tiny spider demon slept still, but in his mind… in his dreams… he was somewhere else… somewhen else… someone else. In his dream, he was adult sized… and was hunting. The adult bebilith slipped silently through the forest, trailing it’s prey, but closing the distance. He could smell the greater barghest’s excitement, and the odor was becoming stronger. The demon-wolf getting closer to being ready to spring it’s ambush on the humans it was hunting. The bebilith was close enough to catch occasional glimpses of dark fur as the demonic wolf slipped through the undergrowth… it’s own supernatural stealth allowing it to move through the terrain without leaving any damage to mark it’s trail. The bebilith didn’t have that advantage… he relied on his skills mostly. Using his long arachnid legs, and his ability to cling to vertical surfaces, the bebilth moved more through the trees above than he did on the ground below, occasionally using his levitate ability to render himself weightless so as to push off from the tree he was upon and float across to the tree he wanted to be in when the distance was too great for him to simply reach or jump. Back in the cubbyhole in the cottage in Twisted Woods, a tiny hatchling Bebilith bobbed a few inches above the ground as he slept, his own mind mimicing the actions he was ‘remembering’. As the adult in the dream pushed off from the tree, Ven pushed off from the wall… his tiny balled up figure floated out of the little cubby and across the hidden space above the bookshelf. Emerging silently out of the hiding place he had claimed for himself, the sleeping baby floated out into the room, gently drifting towards where Baldrick fussed over Lorelei. Back in the past, in the forest… the greater bebilith hunter was getting ready himself… for he spied his prey crouched, poised to spring out upon the unsuspecting humans. The bebilith settled against the trunk of the large oak tree he was in and readied his own self to pounce. He could hear the humans approaching, their wagon and draft horses making a great deal of racket, well it seemed so to the hunter who was practiced in the art of stealth. He could see through the treesenough to note that a good sized tree just ‘happened’ to have fallen across the road at a narrow point in it just a short ways ahead of the humans, they would encounter it when they rounded a bend in the road ahead. The bebilith smiled at the resourcefulnessof the demon-wolf,even as he felt disdain at the cowardice it’s kind exhibited. This one was no exception… it did not hunt things that could challenge it…. no, it hunted mere humans. And at that, not even the ones trained in combat. The bebilth prepared to pounce, he would attempt to time his pounce to occur just before the barghest’s. He wanted to enjoy the look of shock upon it’s face if he managed to intercept it mid-leap. The humans entered the bend, the barghest hunkered a bit lower, coiling it’s legs in preparation… the bebilth soundlessly pushed off from the tree aiming for a point just past the treeline and out in the road. If he had timed it right, and irt appeared he had, as the barghest leapt an instant later, the bebilith’s face split in a grin as it’s rending talons which arched from it’s back and over it’s shoulder began to dart forward and down toward the other demon as their bodies collided in the air just out into the road. The bebilith heard a female human cry out in shear terror… but that mattered not… he wasn’t doing this for the weaklings in the wagon… he only denied the barghest a final meal out of satisfaction at the anguish the demon would feel as it was slain… dying a failure. In the air above Lorelei and Baldrick the sleeping bebilth infant spread his legs and arms, unconciously releasing it’s innate levitate ability and plummeting down. If Baldrick had not moved the tiny(for a bebilith) creature would land atop his head.-
LoreleiRoseCarrendar: – Baldrick was taken aback, his lips formed a straight line when Lorelei said “Baldrick, you wouldn’t know a subtle plan even if it painted itself purple and jumped up on a harpsicord and danced, singing, “Subtle plans are here again.” Baldrick screwed the cap back on the stinky ointment, and placed the jar back on the table, shaking his head. (Baldrick)”You underestimate my natural abilities at being cunning, M’lady. Why, I am well known for hatching some dasteredly plans and carrying them out to the letter.” Lorelei patted her scratched cheeks and then raised an eyebrow at Baldrick’s statement and followed with a rather nasty reply. (Lorelei)” No..Baldrick, that is where you are wrong, for it is I that goes around after you have concocted your dasteredly plans which are an absolute cock up, and then do the dirty work myself.” Baldrick stammered – (Baldrick)”That’s…that’s news to me, the plans always seem to go off without a hitch. Wish you could explain it to me.” Lorelei retorted with a huff. (Lorelei)”I would explain, Baldrick, but I fear that you wouldn’t understand – blessed as you are with a head that is emptier than a hermit’s address book.” She then saw a small shadow cross over their heads, and then she watched on in amusement, as Venor was levitating across the room and right over Baldrick’s head. (Lorelei)”Don’t look now Baldrick, but I do believe your about to receive company.” (Baldrick)”Really?….No one ever drops in to see me.” It was then that Venor fell from the sky, legs splayed and Lorelei grabbed the jar of troll shit ointment, taking a step back. (Lorelei)”No fear, Baldrick…I have just the thing for when he rips to shreds!” Baldrick looks up – (Baldrick)”AAAAGGHH!”
VenorCarrendar: -Venor felt the world drop out from under him… the sudden sensation of falling waking him from his dream. The startled little bebilith began to flail his legs as he dropped toward the floor and beings below him. He saw the eyes of Baldrick widening as the distance between them lessened. In desperation, Ven tried to use what he had learned in the dream about making himself light enough to float… it didn’t work, he plummeted still, not realizing that he hadn’t done it wrong… that it just didn’t work because he could only do it once a day. Barely missing the head of Baldrick, Venor fell just behind him. Just barely able to reach it, Venor hooked two of his legs into the fabric of the back of the man’s shirt.-’RRRIIIIIIIPPPPPPP- The sound of tearing cloth drifted through the room as the sharp claws of Venor parted the fabric, leaving a ribbon of cloth three inches wide down the middle of the man’s shirt. Unfortunately for Baldrick, the claw-like tips of the bebilith baby were drug closer by the resistance the fabric gave to slow the hatchlings fall. Halfway down the back of the shirt, the tips would possibly contact Baldrick’s skin. Ven’s fall wouls only be halted when the sharp talons encountered the belt, digging deeply into the leather. The little bebilith looked around startled for a moment before pushing off against the man’s backside and ripping his talon-like claws loose from the belt, further damaging the accessory. Venor landed on the floor, looked around for a moment and then darted around Baldrick, hissing up at him as he ran and hid underneath the chair his mother was seated in. Getting out of the open, the little spider demon, turned and glared out at Baldrick as if he seemed to think the man had pulled him out of his hidey hole and let him fall. Ven glanced up toward his mom, thinking ‘Why did you let the mean one make me fall?’ … not even realizing he would have the ability to communicate telepathically with her. He would be shocked if she heard and responded.-
LoreleiRoseCarrendar: – “HE’S ON ME!!!!”- Baldrick would squawk like a turkey about to be beheaded for Thanksgiving. He started to spin, round and round, grabbing at his head, which the baby bebilith had missed, but was now ripping through his shirt, his claw like tips dragging through the shirt and now…his back hair. Lorelei sprang up from the chair, juggling the jar of ointment. (Lorelei)”Hold still…ya great lump, or its going to be a lot worse. (Baldrick)*flailing wildly*…Hold still?…HOLD STILL?! He’s a killer…he’s a menace…HE’S ON MY ASS!!!”- Fearing that he was about to have a whole new asshole cut out by Venor’s own needle like legs, Baldrick started to hop, hop and jump like a frog on a hot skillet. His hands came around trying to swat the Bebilith, who by this stage, had propelled himself off Baldrick’s bony buttcheeks and onto the floor, skittering under Lorelei’s chair. (Lorelei)”Calm the hell down, he’s off…see? Look..there he is.”- Seeing Venor had come out from under the chair, and looking up at Baldrick with eyes that burnt brighter than the hell fires of Satan’s kitchen, Lorelei smiled sweetly. (Lorelei)”Awe….did Mummy’s baby get a fright?”- she cooed as she got down on her knees and offered her hand for him to crawl on. Baldrick’s back looked like he had been hit by a dozen carving knives, blooded, with the shreds of his shirt hanging loosely, covered in crimson blemishes. (Baldrick)”No amount of gold is worth this. I swear, he will kill us in our sleep….or me at least.”
SkyStourme: -his body was a slender 6ft, his toned muscles rippled with each movement as he moved. the creature was like some spector of the forest and even his heightend hearing agility and stamina he knew he couldnt outrun his fiercest enemy….the moon. it was hidden behind clouds for the moment so he was fine, but his target was near..the only thing that would make things difficult would be if his curse acted up on him now. his slender ears jutted from the side of his hooded head and were looped with metallic rings. his face remaind hidden, all but his mouth and even his neear pale flesh showed a few scars. his torso was wrapped in black bandages, straps with numerous poisonous knives, a quiver with ten arrows and a bow, two blades at his lower back AND a large broadsword which by the way made some people wary of his presence. his legs were wrapped in black armor and a tattered battleskirt played from his lower back as he moved, they hit the heel of his boots with each lithe step. his bare arms were sloppily wrapped in the black bandages he wore but he wore gauntlets that made his fingers resemble that of some mad beast. the creatures movement speed alone was on adrenaline for an arrow whizzed passed his face. his gaze didnt avert as he continued through the forest, the darkness was where most made their move…his profession? assassin during the night. mercenary during the day. why even now he was hunting something he didnt much see the point of killing, but he was being paid for it so it didnt bother him. he was being chased for betraying the former employer…odd. never trust anyone with a mask, but if they bore a hood it usually meant they ached for somone to expose them. the creature could see the villaige coming into veiw, his moves became rapid and erratic, his ears picked up the sounds of 6 foots steps. he cared not how they looked for the darkness covered them, but he did know they didnt stand a chance. the creature bounds up the side of a house and vanishes from view. his enemies thunder in and back against eachother. never knowing where he would strike, never hearing, never seeing the shadows dance around their form. most elven beings bore control over nature around them…he could but it was something not to be taken lightly. his skill with the blade and bow were legendary. the first enemy went down with an arrow to the throat. the last two went frantic as the creature himself had moved from the roof of a housee to a tree just abovee them. with one move he drops down behind them, his oversized blade was drawn and with no sound he drives the blade into the back of one of his enemies, sending blood spouting forward. the other enemy turns to face the comotion only to see the sword still jutting from his allys front. the creature was nowhere to be seen. it was when the enemy turned back around that he was face to face with the creature. before he could finish him off the enemy let out a shreik before the creature in black drove an armored arm through the enemys body. without shaking off the body he uses his free hand return his blade to its sheath. he now walked the street still clutching to the spine of thee victim, his body still moved in agony as he was dragged…the creatures face remained stoic…he now moved toward his next target…-
VenorCarrendar: -Venor stumbled back a step as her voice rang in his head. He eased forward again… testing… he thought again at her-’No… not scared. Hmmph… he will pay.’-as he cut his eyes over at Baldrick. Skittering out from under the chair as she held her arm out to him… Venor reached her shoulder and shifted a moment, finding a comfortable position he felt stable in. Suddenly a shriek floated on the night air… a palpable note of terror in the voice that faded raggedly off. Venor’s head lifted and he looked the direction of the sound. Once more Venor ‘spoke’ to his mother-’What was that?’- a note of curiosity and excitement carried with the query. He shifted across to her other shoulder, moving closer to the direction the cry had came from. The little bebilith began to sniff the air… his acute sense of smell picking up the coppery scent of fresh blood. Many beings would not have been able to distinguish the odor from the other blood that was recently shed in this room… but it was similar enough, the hatchling could recognize what it was, yet individual enough, he could discriminate it from the scent of the ones whose blood he had smelled here in this room. Venors assault talons twitched as he stared toward the direction the scream came from, his ears strained to hear… anything. He listened as closely as he could, even holding his breath for several seconds so he could hear even better. The tiny spider demon was nigh on quivering with excitement as he waited to see whether his mother had answers to his question… or if it would be answered in some other way… would it come here? Would mother go there?. Ven could taste the bitterness growing in his mouth again, the pressure in his gut beginning to build again.-
LoreleiRoseCarrendar:- The first meeting between Son and Mother, was not exactly warm and fuzzy, but more like something out of your worst nightmare. This time, her son, had seemed to accept the fact of who she was, and climbed up up up her arm and onto her shoulder when she offered her hand. Baldrick was in a right mess, and it was then as Lorelei was about to tell Baldrick where to go..she heard the sound, the scream, or shriek, of a woman in terror. Venor’s head lifted, and of course, Lorelei’s followed. “I don’t know…but I am going to find out.”- She quickly blurted to Baldrick, who was now in tears over the pain from the scratches on his back. (Lorelei)”Go see Doctor Ghelfing, he is just across the market square, and don’t forget to take the troll shit jar with you. Ven and I are going to go check out the noise. Seems we have a disturbance. Wearing her sewn leather fightsuit, which was all the rage in Arachnea, she mentally spoke to her son. (Lorelei)”Come let’s find the danger that has ventured into our lands. Her black long sword smacked her thigh, its sheath decorated with her name, and her dagger was actually being warn by her son, who had taken a shine to it since to him at his size, it was something he could really do some damage with. They left the Twisted wood Manor, going down the stairs slowly, as in the distance, the sounds of horses hooves pounding the road just from the east would signal that the Lighthorse brigade of the Arachnean capital were on way. Lorelei’s brown fur cape swirled behind her as many of the residents had fled indoors on the sound of the woman’s scream. (Lorelei)”I smell blood…its fresh. *she licked the air with her tongue, just like a snake and then smacked her lips*…Venor, you may get to start your first serious hunt sooner than I had anticipated.” Her eyes of ruby red scanned the town square, looking for the movement to the one that had entered their town. Mission, unknown.
RazielZerati: *By the nine! he had no idea on where in Oblivion he was. One moment he was getting away from his former brethren, the next he ended up in this weird place. Was he even on Nirn anymore?.. reptilian eyes would blink in reflex as he felt his skin being so dry. He had suited his name in gettin away from his pursuers, but Swift-Wind had yet to figure out just where he was and how he got here. The sound of leather creaking would ring through the holes in the sides of his head, the closest thing to ears any reptile would have as he made his way along. Katana bounced lightly against his left shoulder while the unstrung bow and a quiver of twenty arrows were fastened to his right shoulder.. his hips however were something unique.. one blade had black and gold along the hilt whilst the other shone with black and a transluscent green… crystal?… no… glass… yes.. whilst the black blade was made from Ebony.. a rare yet incredibly strong metal that could cut right through steel. With these blades at his hips, each about as long as a standard Celtic blade with the actual blade length just a few centimeters short of a meter. He made his way along.. a rusty brown scaled tail twitched, tossed and turned with every step taken while green eyes would shine out brilliantly. A lizards head would be the most noticeable.. often confused with Dracionians his people would be if they shared the world of Nirn with the rest of the life out there. Rusty browk along with flashes of read would pain the Argonian’s face, needle like teeth sticking out from the top lip pointing downwards. But where hair would be on a human, spines as long as an average mans foot and two fingers thick each at the base would decorate the being’s head. They would rattle silently whenever angered or nervous.. in his homeland, the natural tongue of man was considered a secondary language, with the first consisting only of squeaks and grunts along with some form of words thrown in between on occasion. Never the less, the black leather armored male would be bearing civilization and come towards where the unsuspecting Lore and son would soon be upon crossing of a path… but the sense of smell indicated food.. water.. oil… people.. he had come near a town he realised and so he would keep himself on guard.. it’s not everyday a former member of the Dark Brotherhood could escape their family, survive after days of being pursued.. only to end up in a foreign land… he hoped he would not need to draw any more attention on himself than what his looks already are doing for him.. bare hands would close lightly into fists to try to hide his reptilian claws just in case*
SkyStourme: -the creature still clutched the spine of his fallen enemy, his bloodied gauntlets were stained with a crimson stink that only made it harder for him to make friends. not that he wanted any. it was as if he couldnt quite yank his arm from the enemys body who was now dead after bleeding out. his slender physique made him appear stronger than he was whil holding it but as he began to feel energy nearing his location the creatures grip around the spine tightend and with a quick wrench of his wrist he dropped the being in a crumpled heap on th ground. his target was a demon, no names were mentioned…the only detail he had gotten was to bring the head of some demon in this area, apparently this mercenary was mistaken for a hunter, which wasnt too far from the truth. the moon…it peered around the clouds that had kept it prisoner and with a low growl the creature knew it would b far too risky to stick around. he would return…he had to, his job was not complete and he had no problem being the bad guy..he cared not who this demon was, man woman or child. it would be cut down. the lifestyle of the cataclysmic soldier. the creature seems to vanish into the shadows with a quick dart sideways just as moonlight plays across the ground…he would be back, he would take form when most expected but only strike when they werent…-
VenorCarrendar: -Venor was thrilled his mother had brought him with her. He kept silent as they moved… he listened and kept his nose working… sniffing the air. He heard movement… from two directions… the one the cry had came from… and the other from off to one side… the little bebilith was confused by this… he queried mother silently, the telepathic link not interfering with him being able to still listen intently…-’Are there many out here?… I hear something …’-he paused, not sure how to relay where… so he reached out with his hand and gently tried to push against her cheek as he sat upon her shoulder… trying to get her to look off to the side-’That way…’-he sniffed again…-’I can’t smell another…’-he seemed disappointed. The little bebilith frowned, looking aroundmoving his head back and forth from the direction of one sound to the direction of the other.-’Can you hear them?…smell them?’- He could still hear the movements… he smelled the blood scent from the first direction get stronger, the one the cry had come from. Followed quickly by a heavy thud and quickly fading rapid footsteps. Meanwhile the movement from the side seemed to be getting closer. Ven shifted and moved to the other side of his mother, now perched on the shoulder facing the direction of the newest sound… Ven hunkered down, his abdomen almost resting against Lorelei’s shoulder… he no longer spoke to her… she seemed to be nothing more than a mount now… a beast of burden carrying him toward this encounter. The little bebilith had settled himself so close to her shoulder… and was remaining so still, that in the darkness especially, he could be easily be mistaken for a decoration on her fightsuit. In the mean-time, Venor held his mouth closed, breathing softly through his nose… the bitter taste filling his mouth almost… he crouched and waited.-
LoreleiRoseCarrendar: – They crept through the village square, Lorelei walking on with caution, turning abruptly as she heard even the smallest sound behind her. (Lorelei)”This one is a right tricky bastard.”- she said telepathically to her son. “No, my son, it is like their scent has blown away with the breeze. What could that possibly mean?”- she narrowed her gaze, looking down alleys, trying to see through the shadows, as Baldrick streaked past, blood dripping behind him as he went to see Doctor Ghelfling about his injuries from Venor. A louder sound was now coming, one with…big feet. Lorelei ducked behind the well, looking around the corner, getting ready with her hand resting on the hilt of her blade, ready to unsheath it at the blink of an eye. (Lorelei)”The one we stalked has fled it seems, but another takes his place.” Her son was now crouched low on her shoulder, he had stopped speaking telepathically. He must have sensed it too. Breathing deeply, she began to walk to the direction of the sound of another coming.
RazielZerati: *As he came in closer and closer.. Swift lifted his head… the smell of blood was neabry, but all he could see was a long streak of blood as if the body had been dragged then simply dumped.. his gaze narrowed some… killing for Sithis was one thing… Necromancy was something entirely different.. and Necrophilia… well… to the Dunmer in Nirn it was a mixed subject. He shook his head in dismay, giving off a light hiss before he turned and carried on.. clawed feet contacting with the earth as he seemed to walk like any normal person.. head twisting and turning as he looked around, trying to find out if there were any indications as to where he was.. he muttered under his breath in a raspy voice* Damn…. nothing tells me where I am or where to go… *He carried on, not even bothering to look around the corners.. fortunately for Lore, he was walking right towards them.. and he carried on.. left hand resting ever lightly on the pommel of his Ebony blade as it rested lightly upon his hip on the same side as his hand. Spine’s began to rattle silently as he noted that whoever this is.. they were walking right towards him. So with a louder but still raspy voice, he spoke up* You there… can you tell me where I am and how I could return to Tamriel… if I am still in Nirn that is… *He kept himself on guard… the right hand lowered down to his side as he waited.. he knew he could always let off a fire or frost spell before getting away to hide should she decide to attack him*
Devitas: || A strong breeze blows through the area leaving behind a slow moving whirlwind of torn cloth that obscures its center, swirling the cloth settles in a small pile to reveal a single black rose bud resting atop it. After a few moments the rose bud opens, releasing a small amount of dust to be carried away by the last remnants of the wind, the torn cloth knitting itself together and rising to the air as the last bits of the dust disappear. Light violet eyes appear first in the space above the forming cloth as a woman’s body begins to take shape, spare strands of string snaking along ivory skin creating tattoos as the woman bends over to pick up the rose bud and place it in her ebony hair, the cloth finally settling to create the woman’s clothing as she rights herself||
VenorCarrendar: -Ven heard the comments regarding the one interloper leaving and another taking it’s place… he didn’t respond though… he was focused… he was centered… he was…hunting. The sound drew closer… the wind shifted and it came to him.. an odd tangy odor… some part of his mind reacted… an image of a creature slithering along the ground, and then a different image… another creature with similar skin, but crawling on four clawed feet with a tail…it’s tongue flicking in and out as it walked. A few moments later the shadows moved… resolving into a figure shaped like Baldrick and Mother… but with skin similar to the creatures Ven’s racial memories had dredged up for him. Ven tensed up just a bit. He was not moving… just crouched there watching and waiting. He heard the being say something… he was being tense…this only served to intensify Ven’s sense of aggression…. but the little shoulder ornament didn’t move at all, not even a twitch of his assault talons. He would wait until the moment was right… he knew…though he didn’t really know how…just knew that it was necessary to be patient… that he should stay still and silent…and wait.-
LoreleiRoseCarrendar; – The thundering sound of horses hooves was to preceed as the team of Lighthorsemen from Arachnea finally entered the town gates, the leaders carrying the banners, the standard of the Spider, as Lorelei stepped out from behind the well. The dust rose up into clouds as the Commander raised a fist and all horsemen pulled up their steeds. (Commander)”Lady Carrendar….news in from the Capital. I have word, and must speak with you at once.” He crossed his fist across his chest as a mark of respect, and then Lorelei spoke- (Lorelei)”We will meet in my Manor here. Please, have your men take their horses to the stables, and they may head to the Inn, whilst we discuss these matters in full.” – The order was given as all the horsmen rode past heading for the stables, the Commander alighting and handing the reigns to a young stable boy who had run out to assist the armour clad Commander. The Commander did not spot the tiny Bebilith on her shoulder, since he blended in so well with her sewn leather fight suit. Ven then went silent, he refused to move as Lorelei turned her attention to the one that was coming closer, the other being they had been searching for. He looked repitilian, but Lorelei had not seen his kind before. And just when the villages had started to come back out of their houses to investigate the sounds of a woman screaming earlier, another woman appeared. One that materialised from a simple cloth. Carrying a black rose, with a bud that opened and released a fine dust into the wind. Lorelei noticed the silent stranger, and narrowed her gaze. She was not fond of women, in fact, she despised them, which was odd, since she was one herself. Magic it seemed was now showing up, through the odd collection of beings present. When the repitilian being spoke of Tamriel… and if he was in Nirn. Lorelei responded, “You are in Twisted Wood, in the middle of the Plains of Lexios. No where near Tamrlel. I have not heard of Nirn…it must be a land beyond our shores. This is Lacardis. I do believe Sir, you are lost.”
RazielZerati: *Drat.. so he was far away from Nirn.. on an entirely new world.. but how.. how did her get there?… he shook his head as he then looked away and spoke* I thank you for the information… it seems I cannot return to my home after all… *The five foot nine tall being (if one did not count the spines) would glance back over to her as he examined this woman.. whoever it was, she seemed to be of importance since there were soldiers and a knight talking to her. He couldn’t help but notice something smelled odd on the woman.. like there were two closely related smells together.. he soon dismissed it, seeing nothing but an extended part of her armor where the second funny smell was.. maybe it was blood some weird creature of these lands.. he took a step to turn slightly as he then spoke aloud* Could you tell me where I might find some rest…. I still have Septim’s left over to afford a room.. *He would place a hand lightly on the leather bag behind him on his belt.. it carried his money though he was not sure if they would take the gold or not… but he would pull a coin out to show her as he spoke* would this be worth much in your land?
VenorCarrendar: -The scaly one wasn’t approaching further and his actions were feeling less threatening… but it was then that the big creatures with four legs and two heads came thundering up… Ven froze… not n fear… though in truth he was afraid, but he wasn’t paralyzed by it. He had the instincts of a hunter. Then the lead beast separated… Ven realized they weren’t two-headed beasts, just two creatures, one riding on the other…Ven shifted his eyes slightly… looking towards Mother’s face… the correlation striking him as funny… he wasn’t thinking of her as a simple beast by any means… he was just amused at the image… that the furry beasts were the men’s mothers. He still did not move though… no one was paying him any mind… so he would remain still and try to stay unnoticed as long as he could, or until he found it necessary to act.-
LoreleiRoseCarrendar: – Lorelei tapped her lip thinking, looking on at the strange visitor to the town of Twisted Wood who was very far from home and asking if there was a place where he might stay. (Lorelei)”Well, you could alway stay at Squirrel’s Nuts Inn, they have beds, and women to ……to….*she rolled her hand over to emphasis what she was trying to convey*…keep you warm, if you so fancy, but be warned, they do cost a gold coin a night.”- She felt Ven move on her shoulder and then he froze, froze solid. (Lorelei)*to his mind*”My Son, its okay…this stranger will be the cause of no harm, I guarantee it. As for the soldiers, one day, you will lead them.” -He may not have understood, he may have still thought her his slave, but she loved the little arm muncher dearly. The Commander made a hmmph sound, having been kept waiting so long. (Lorelei)”Let us go to the Squirrel’s Nuts and discuss your news over a tankard of ale. My treat.” then she looked at the traveller. “Your more than welcome to join us.”
VenorCarrendar: -Ven held still, reassured by the words from Mother. He did not like the large number of creatures around so much bigger than him… he did not trust them. He would keep alert as long as he could. He was luckily for him, settled in comfortably, he had let his weight ease down against Mother’s shoulder, so his little legs weren’t having to hold him up and therefore not cramping. His assault talons were curled against his back, and his hands were resting atop his front legs. He had thoughts of waiting for times up to nearly a day… it would be a while before Ven realized where these memories were coming from. In the meantime, he still waited… he kept his eyes on the one who had been riding the four-legged beast. There was something about him… the little spider demon just did not like.-
LoreleiRoseCarrendar: – The Commander, Lorelei and her young son, Venor, would return to the comfort of the Squirrel’s Nuts Inn, were a warm fire and cool tankard of ale awaited the weary travellers. The Commander opened the door, and saluted as Lorelei entered, and all his men stood to attention, having been already enjoying the area’s good ale whilst the Commander and Lorelei were busy dealing with the travellers that had come and gone during the day. Lorelei took a seat at the bar, and offered her hand to the Commander, directing him to a place to sit, so they may discuss this “developement” in reference to news from the capital Arachnea. Lorelei paid the barmaid five gold coins and then she waited to be briefed, as the Commander took off her coat and placed it on the rack near the door. Once seated and handed a tankard, he spoke in a hushed tone, as the rest of the Inn went about its business. (Commander)”As you know, the traitor escaped from the meeting hall after standing on top of the grand table, in the hall. M’lady, we have brought in experts, wizards, even the old hag from Boxter’s hill….and none could answer the questions as to how the young girl vanished in the blaze of light. We searched high and low, M’lady, no trace of her, or anything that leads us to a conclusion as to where she went. But I ask you, did she say she wished your head?” Lorelei snorted at the memory of the traitor. (Lorelei)”Girl was good with the sword, but no, she didn’t try to kill me. That is what I don’t understand, and she called me…..Mom. My children are young, as you can see, my youngest son, Venor is here, on my shoulder. I have no daughters, it makes no sense.” -the Commander raised an eyebrow when he caught sight of Ven, who had blended in well with her sewn leather fightsuit. (Commander)”Oh, M’lady, he is very sweet, can I pat him?” -he would then reach out with a large knarled hand, to stroke his thorax..(Lorelei)”Commander….I…wouldn’t do that…if..” -but her words soon stopped as his hand got closer-
RazielZerati: *As Swift heard what was mentioned.. he would blink as she heard about women ‘keeping him warm’… he had no clue what that was since he was that focused in assassination, combat, alchemy and the like.. that he never knew about anything of that sort… as she walked away with her soldiers.. he would take one glance to the town and he would snarl with a hiss… he didn’t want to stay here… so he would turn around and walk away, seeing no point in going in for things he had already learned to use in the wild… he didn’t want to be near there.. he didn’t like this at all.. so he rapidly turned and walked away without a second glance, replacing the coin back into his coinpurse while he walked.. he had to admit… it felt good to no longer be pursued though*
VenorCarrendar: -Little Venor stayed motionless… watching the man as he went and removed his skin… or at least a layer of it… that was how it seemed to the hatchling. When the man returned to sit next to Mother… The creature started speaking to Mother. Ven could smell his stench… the combination of his own sweat and the horse’s. Then Mother mentioned him… and the man began to reach for him… Ven remained motionless… waiting. As the hand came closer, it seemed to Ven that everything had slowed down… the hand moving so slowly toward him… the rag the barkeep tossed to the counter drifting lazily down. When the hand was only two inches away from him, Ven knew…. it was time to move. And move he did, the coiled assault talons coming off his back snapping forward and down, moving much like a scorpion’s tail, and with similar speed. These appendages though did not have venomous stingers at the end, only supernaturally hard and sharp rending talons. The two talons drove towards the center of the back of the man’s hand, if they struck, the tiny bebilith would instinctively press down and pull apart with them. He flexed his legs as well, pressing his thorax up and forwards. Bringing his face into proximity to attempt to bite the longest finger of the hand that was reaching for him… if successful, Venor would inject the venom that had been building in his mouth and venom sacks. The youngling wasn’t trying to be evil…he just couldn’t help himself… The bebilith’s venom was a nasty thing… it has a neurological effect, causing pain and an eventual slowly progressing paralysis throughout the body. The pain and paralysis progress faster the more injections that occur. Once the attacks had been made, Ven would draw upon his racial memories again, and feel an interesting energy begin to course through him and coalesce within him… he was preparing to use some of his inherited innate abilities. Venor used his psionic wild talent… his telepathy… he began to conciously try to listen to the forefront thoughts of the man.-
LoreleiRoseCarrendar:- It was all in slow motion, just like one of those tv documentaries, where the spider goes for the kill on the hapless ant, only this was no ant, this was the Commander of the Lighthorseman of Arachnea. Well, just as his hand was about to reach the thorax, Baldrick came in the door, his body swatched in bandages like a mummy, only to catch the dying seconds of the Commander’s attempt to “pet” the baby bebilith. (Baldrick)*slow motion*.Nyyyuuuuuooooooooo!”- But alas, as the Commander turned his head to the sound of Baldrick’s voice, Venor struck, and he didn’t just go at him with the coiled assault talons, no siree bob, he went for the finger, and bit down hard, injecting vemon, pumping it into the man’s blood stream. Lorelei, well she just sat there, not much she could do, this was going to be a lesson, both brutal and painful, kinda sad too. The Commander’s face went lily white, as the blood rushed away and down his neck. The pupils dilated as he went down like a sack of potatoes, drooling and making these god awful noises, like ….like you know when you strangle a cat? Kinda like that. So what was happening inside his mind, you might be wondering. (Commander) *in his mind*”Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!”- yeah, not much, but you would be saying it too if it had happened to you. His men got up from their tables, and dragged him to a seat, one soldier, why he got his beer and threw it in the Commander’s face, thinking he was having some sort of fit. You see, they didn’t catch sight of the young bebililth since he blends in so well with Lorelei’s fightsuit. Lorelei bit her bottom lip and then with her mouth only opened partly she whispered- (Lorelei)”Impressive my son…attacked like a true Carrendar.”
VenorCarrendar: -As he struck at the hand, feeling the talons dig in, which made it easier for him to bite into the man’s finger, Venor felt the muscles under his jaw begin to flex rapidly, pumping the bebilith’s venom into the wound. Drawing back and ripping his talons out of the hand, Venor pushed with the energy he had felt building. As he did… the area around them going pitch black… the darkness spanning an area with a twenty foot radius… this pretty much filled the entire tavern. Leaping off his mother’s shoulder and down to the bartop, Ven leapt from there up onto the shelves behind the bar and climbed up the wall to the rafters above, moving quietly he found somewhere he could crawl into and get out of sight. He settled in and would wait again.-
